Educational course «Resilience in Education: Ukrainian-Slovak-Polish-Czech Experience» continues at Ostroh Academy

On February 13, as part of the Visegrad Fund grant project «Resilience Approach in Cross-Cultural Training of Future Teachers in Ukraine and V4 Countries», Polish lecturers started teaching the course «Resilience in Education: Ukrainian-Slovak-Polish-Czech Experience» at the National University of Ostroh Academy.

The speaker of the lecture was dr hab., prof. Barbara Loranc, lecturer at the Institute of Neophilology at the University of Bielsko-Biała  (Republic of Poland). The lecturer presented the topic «Resilience in education».

«Greetings to the participants of our lecture, which takes place during the academic course «Resilience in Education». The students of  Ostroh Academy have already listened to Ukrainian and Slovak speakers, and now the lectures of Czech colleagues are continuing. Today we are joined by speakers from the Polish University in Bielsko-Biała, in particular Barbara Loranc»,

- said Halyna Handzilevska, Doctor of Psychology, Professor of the department of Psychology of the National University of Ostroh Academy, Head of the project from Ostroh Academy.

Impressions were shared by Iryna Onishchuk, a 4th-year student majoring in «Primary Education», as well as 2nd-year students Olga Ivaniuk and Maryna Korol.

«Resilience is really an important and useful skill for every person, and especially for a teacher, so it was incredibly interesting for me to listen to international lecturers and try out the meditative (and not only) techniques offered by them. I am sure that this experience and the methods I have learned will produce results in my future professional activity»,
