Teaching course «Resilience in Education: Ukrainian-Slovak-Polish-Czech Experience» has commenced

On the 4th of September, the first lecture of the teaching course «Resilience in Education: Ukrainian-Slovak-Polish-Czech Experience» for the students of the National University of Ostroh Academy took place.

The lecture was delivered by prof. Halyna Handzilevska, Doctor of Psychology, Professor of the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy, Head of the Project, National University of Ostroh Academy (Ukraine). Prof. Handzilevska officially opened the course and presented the main foundations about resilience approach in the field of education, psychological immunity and teacher resilience.

The course consists of 96 academic hours during which professors, teachers and psychology specialists will present their lectures, share their insights on different topics including international experience. 

Representatives from the following Higher-educational institutions are involved in the teaching the course:

  • National University of Ostroh Academy (Ostroh, Ukraine);
  • University of Žilina (Žilina, Slovakia);
  • Palacký University Olomouc (Olomouc, Czech Republic); 
  • University of Bielsko-Biała (Bielsko- Biała, Poland);

The teaching course are being held within the framework of the Visegrad Fund project «Resilience Approach in Cross-Cultural Training of Future Teachers in Ukraine and V4 Countries» (Project ID: 22220170), which is implemented by the National University of Ostroh Academy with the support of the Visegrad Fund.
